Only a relatively small volume of serology (67 groups) has been carried out by us on broilers other than the day-old samples for vaccination date prediction (see page 52). Nevertheless there is a clear downward trend of maternal antibody and a response to vaccination and/or field challenge after about 30 days of age (Figure 3.21).
